Harpooner

It is difficult to find a more fascinating figure than that of the harpooneer in the navy; these individuals, in fact, are endowed with a glacial tranquility even when facing the most gigantic sea monsters.
And how could they, without a granitic inner security, face beings as big as ships?
You can see them walking through the streets of the port displaying the haughtiness of an admiral, even if on board a ship they count for less than a boatswain, but on board a ship not even the most angry captain dares to raise his voice against them.
