Sylver Cedar

There is a curious story of a citadel guard whose honorary position was to guard a white cedar tree that stood before the throne of Elensefar. As the son of a nobleman, he inherited his post from seven generations of nobility who likewise guarded the tree, from the day that Elensefar was first founded as a haven for the Wesfolk. It was thus a shock to him, one afternoon, when he turned to face the tree, and found nothing but a bare patch of earth where it once stood, as though it had been spirited away in a moment's time.

Such encounters are all that is known of what are presumably the most ancient of sylver woses.
