Banner Runner

Many who met with armed troops of small bearded men rub their eyes when they see the banner moving at high speed among the combatants. This rather strange sight, with the seemingly self-moving banners next to each other, often colliding, sounds like a silly joke, but nothing could be further from the truth.

Banner Runners is a very important caste in the Morkvurs world. They are courage on the battlefield and a sign of constant struggle. For opponents, they look like hilarious midgets running back and forth, but for fighting Moon worshipers they are a sign of the consistency and strength of the attack.

Little warriors, in order to achieve the highest possible speed and avoid the eyes of the enemy, do not wear armor and, huddled, run away from one-on-one duels, hiding behind their companions.

Known for carrying orders to the battlefield and for changing sides of the attack, they are respected along with the rest of the castes, and seeing them on the battlefield signifies the unity of the army.
