The Merkava M.1 is an armored chariot. It has one charioteer which steers two horses. It is nearly as mobile and fast as armored horse and rider and its tactics include maneuver to perform precision ranged attacks. It is a platform for stabilized ranged attacks. Being in essence a horse powered mechanical vehicle, it can be repaired by mechanics.
