Giant Wood Spider

The wood spiders which inhabit the Dark Forest are particularly dangerous. While they tend to be smaller than other great arachnid species, they are very well adapted to their environment and their venom is no less deadly. The wood spider species string webs across the trees, hiding above their intended prey, to pounce down upon them at the critical moment.

Special Notes: The victims of this unit’s poison will continually take damage until they can be cured in town or by a unit which cures. This unit is able to slow its enemies, halving their movement speed and attack damage until they end a turn. In woodlands, this unit’s ambush skill renders it invisible to enemies unless it is immediately adjacent or has revealed itself by attacking.
